BIC Festival 2025, 2차 얼리버드 티켓 오픈

게임도시 부산광역시(시장 박형준), (재)부산정보산업진흥원(원장 김태열), (사)부산인디커넥트페스티벌조직위원회(조직위원장 주성필, 이하 BIC 조직위)는 오는 8월 개막을 앞둔 ‘부산인디커넥트페스티벌 2025(이하 BIC 2025)’의 2차 얼리버드 티켓 예매를 8월 1일부터 시작한다고 밝혔다.

2차 얼리버드 티켓은 온라인 페스티벌, 오프라인 페스티벌(3DAY/1DAY), 비즈니스 패스 전 부문에서 20% 할인 혜택이 제공된다. 온라인 페스티벌과 비즈니스 패스는 8월 6일(수)까지, 오프라인 티켓은 8월 12일(화)까지 예매 가능하며, 모든 티켓은 BIC 공식 누리집(bicfest.org)을 통해 구매할 수 있다.

앞서 성황리에 마감된 1차 얼리버드에 이어, 이번 2차 얼리버드도 1차에 준하는 혜택을 누릴 수 있는 마지막 기회로 기대를 모은다.

올해 BIC 2025는 총 270여 종의 인디게임을 선보이는 가운데, 국내외 개발자들과의 교류, 관람객 참여형 무대 이벤트, 생생한 라이브 스트리밍 등 다채로운 프로그램이 마련된다. 오프라인 페스티벌은 벡스코 제1전시장(1홀)에서 8월 15일부터 17일까지 3일간 진행되며, 숨겨진 인디게임부터 화제작까지 한 자리에서 만나볼 수 있다.

온라인 페스티벌은 8월 8일부터 29일까지 운영되며, 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 자유롭게 플레이할 수 있는 점이 특징이다. 티켓 1매로 페스티벌 기간 내내 무제한 플레이가 가능하고, 오프라인에서 놓친 게임도 온라인 전시관을 통해 다시 즐길 수 있다.

비즈니스 패스 예매자에게는 MeetToMatch 플랫폼 기반 오프라인 비즈매칭과 전용 비즈존 입장이 가능하다. 특히, 8월 14일(목)에는 (재)부산정보산업진흥원과 공동 주관하는 ‘부산 인디 웨이브 컨퍼런스’ 에도 참여 가능하며, 업계 관계자들과 실질적인 네트워킹과 인사이트 공유가 이뤄질 예정이다.

주성필 BIC 조직위원장은 “올해 BIC는 인디게임 전시뿐 아니라 개발자와의 교류, 산업 간 연결, 참관객의 다양한 관람까지 고민하며 준비했습니다. 2차 얼리버드 기간 통해 더 많은 분들이 가장 좋은 조건에서 BIC를 즐기실 수 있길 바라며, 끝까지 완성도 높은 페스티벌로 보답하겠습니다”고 전했다.

작년 BIC 참관객은 “다양한 국가의 인디게임을 직접 플레이하고 개발자와 대화할 수 있어 인상 깊었다”, “올해 라인업 공개 후 바로 티켓 예매를 마쳤다”고 전하며 올해 페스티벌에 대한 기대감을 드러냈다.

BIC Festival 2025, 2nd Early Bird Ticket Sales Open

The City of Busan, the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, and the Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (BIC Organizing Committee) announced that the second early bird ticket sales for Busan Indie Connect Festival 2025 (BIC 2025) will open on August 1.

The 2nd early bird period offers a 20% discount across all ticket types: the Online Festival, Offline Festival (3DAY/1DAY), and Business Pass. Online festival and business pass tickets will be available until August 6 (Wed), and offline festival tickets until August 12 (Tue), all via the official BIC website (bicfest.org).

Following the enthusiastic response to the first early bird phase, the second release is expected to be the final opportunity to enjoy the same benefits before regular ticket sales begin. 

BIC 2025 will showcase over 270 indie games from around the world. The offline festival will take place from August 15 to 17 at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1 (Hall 1), featuring hands-on experiences with hidden gems and globally trending titles. The event will also include developer meet-ups, live stage events, and real-time streaming sessions. 

The online festival runs from August 8 to 29 and allows unrestricted access to all showcased games, regardless of time or location. With a single ticket, attendees can enjoy unlimited gameplay throughout the festival period—including games they may have missed at the offline event. 

Business pass holders will gain access to the on-site Biz-Zone and participate in offline matchmaking via the MeetToMatch platform. They will also be eligible to attend the Busan Indie Wave Conference on August 14 (Thu), co-hosted by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, where professionals across the industry will gather to exchange insights and expand their networks.

Chairperson Joo Sung-pil of the BIC Organizing Committee stated, “This year’s BIC has been designed not only to showcase indie games, but also to foster meaningful connections between creators, the industry, and our audiences. We hope the 2nd early bird phase allows more people to experience BIC under the best conditions. We will continue striving to deliver a high-quality and memorable festival.”

Visitors from last year commented, “It was memorable to play games from so many countries and speak directly with the developers,” and “As soon as the lineup was released, I secured my ticket.”
